YouTube Software Update Instructions Delstar DS700
(Remember to back up all data in my documents to an external memory storage device before pushing reset)
Before beginning, please check the software version installed in your DS700.
Right-click on “My computer”, then select “Properties” → “Device Name” → “Device description”, you can then see the installed software version.
Be VERY careful to choose the correct version of your software. There are three (3) different versions as follows:
VERY IMPORTANT !! Please use another computer (not the DS700) to download the YouTube-updated software from the appropriate link above to a 1GB or 2GB (but no larger than 2GB) SD card that has been previously formatted in “FAT32” system.
Once downloaded to SD card, decompress the zip folder into SD card root directory (not to a folder) and you will see the following files:

You can now update the software as follows:
1. Insert SD card into DS700 SD memory card slot
2. Press power on/off button to power on the unit. Once fully booted, reset to original factory setting by pushing the “RESET” button located on the underside of your unit, while keeping the power on/off button depressed until you can see the Windows CE start screen and the words “ Program OS…” on the screen.
3. Software will update itself. It will show “Program OS OK!” on the screen after 40 seconds. Then unit will display the desktop after 10 seconds again.
4. In “My Computer”, select the SD card, double click 
of “Upgrade-YouTube”, then click “Update”. The unit will update the software by itself.
5. When you see “Software update is finished! Please push the “RESET” button located on the underside of your unit” again and click the “EXIT” when it appears on the screen.
6. Once again, please reset the unit and once desktop appears, adjust the local date and time before using new YouTube software.
Your YouTube software update is now completed.
